1 - Your Brief
How do you want your site to look? What should it say? It's important that we get a full brief from you at the start - that helps keep your costs down. The more you tell us, the better your website will be. Click here for a list of things you should be thinking about at this stage.
2 - Proof
Based on your brief we'll create a proof copy of your site's master page layout. This will give you an idea of what the header will look like, where the menus will be and roughly how an example page will look. Once you've signed off the proof copy, the design will be finalised and we'll move onto placing your content on each page.
3 - Content
We'll take your electronically supplied text and images and place them on each page. We can also source images or spend time creating tables and charts. If you'd like us to polish your words or write all your copy for you, no problem. Just tell us what you need and we'll do our best to help.
4 - Go Online
When you've approved your content, your website will go live. In a few days your choosen domain name will be updated on the internet's networks. We will submit your website to all the big search engines (a service that other designers will charge about £50 for), making sure your site is optimised to improve where you appear on the listings.
